艺术家郑源的短片《Hepingli Playthrough (和平里通关)》入围2025年鹿特丹国际电影节短片竞赛单元,将于2025年1月底在鹿特丹进行全球首映。我们为其设计了该短片的鹿特丹电影节特供版海报。
基于短片《Hepingli Playthrough (和平里通关)》所呈现的赛博朋克美学、电子数码氛围、游戏化叙事以及末世感,我们从其独特的气质中汲取灵感,设计了一款极具视觉张力的片名字体设计。设计的灵感来源于带有lo-fi特征的停车场指示灯牌,这类灯牌的工业质感与科技属性完美契合短片的整体风格。字体的设计通过灯珠的变换与闪烁,构成不断切换的文字信息,模拟了电子显示屏幕在运行时的独特视觉效果。字体的动态变化不仅在视觉上赋予作品强烈的科技感,还呼应了影片中“通关”与“选择”的核心概念,仿佛观众也在一个大型游戏系统中做出决策。此外,字体设计的配色则借鉴了仪表盘灯光常见的冷暖对比色调,这种色彩方案营造出一种既冷峻又不失未来感的视觉氛围,与短片的基调形成强烈共鸣。这种结合了复古电子设备与未来科技美学的字体设计,既传递了影片的叙事意图,也增强了观众的沉浸式体验感。
Hepingli Playthrough
The short film Hepingli Playthrough by artist Zheng Yuan has been selected for the Short Film Competition section of the 2025 International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and will have its world premiere in Rotterdam at the end of January 2025. We have designed a special edition poster for the film, exclusively for IFFR.
Drawing inspiration from the cyberpunk aesthetics, electronic digital atmosphere, gamified narrative, and post-apocalyptic sensibility presented in Hepingli Playthrough,we created a visually striking title font design. The design is inspired by lo-fi-style parking lot signage, whose industrial texture and technological attributes perfectly align with the film’s overall style. The typography is designed to mimic the transformation and flickering of LED lights, forming a dynamic display of text that simulates the unique visual effect of electronic screens in operation. This dynamic variation not only enhances the technological feel of the design but also echoes the film’s core themes of 'playthrough' and 'choice,' immersing the audience as if they were making decisions within a large-scale game system.
Additionally, the color scheme of the typography draws from the common cool-warm contrast of dashboard lights, creating a visually striking yet futuristic ambiance that resonates deeply with the tone of the film. By blending the aesthetics of vintage electronic devices with futuristic technology, the typography design conveys the film’s narrative intent while enhancing the audience's immersive experience.
